CHIRNSIDE PARK - PUBLIC ART PROJECT BRIEF
Wyndham City Council is seeking to commission an artist/s to undertake a public artwork to be sited at Chirnside Park, Werribee (Melway ref: 205 H9). The artwork will be funded through Council’s Per Cent for Art scheme.
The aim of the project is to;
Provide an artwork, which reflects the multi-user nature of Chirnside Park.
Introduce an innovative, relevant and accessible artistic response to Chirnside Park and its surrounds.
Enhance the environs of the area through the introduction of a durable visual arts component.
Increase the diversity and quality of Council's public art collection, providing access to public art across the Wyndham Community.
Expressions of Interest will close Friday 29 February 2008 at 5pm.
