Sculptures for submission to the Outdoor Sculpture Exhibition 
Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show
The Association of Sculptors of Victoria invites sculptors to enter work for the outdoor sculpture exhibition at the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show Carlton Gardens – Royal Exhibition Building on Wednesday, 30 March to Sunday 3 April 2011.
There are $5,000 worth of prizes across three sections (carving, moulding & fabrication).

Due to popular demand another visit to Fundere Foundry for 2011 will be organised for members. Also, Ruth Lyons who was unfortunately unable to speak to us in October due to illness is very eager to speak in the New Year.

ASV Executive Committee Meeting 3 November 2010: Summary Minutes.
Herring Island Exhibition: Conditions amended to say $50 for non-members.
The Committee resolved that in future all ASV exhibitions will be “Members only” unless otherwise specified.
Annual Exhibition: It was resolved that Monica and Beatrice be appointed joint co-ordinators for 2011 annual
It was resolved that the Light Factory Gallery is booked for next year 7th – 18th September 2011.
Marija reported 11 sales (6 figurative pieces sold) $8,055 for the recent 2010 exhibition.
Elliot ASV Exhibition: Monica reported that approximately 20 entries received; opening is 20th November.
Newsletter: It was resolved that Katherine Harrington be appointed to be editor for one year, producing a newsletter each 2 months, with Geoff producing a simple news sheet on alternate months.
It was resolved that Marija and Gillian be appointed to undertake public relations for the ASV for the coming year
Treasurer’s report: Cash disbursements listing tabled; Profit statement year to date reviewed.

Limestone Sculpture with Jenny Whiteside
Saturday 29th Jan 10.00am to 4pm. OR Sunday 30th January
10.00am to 4pm.
Cost: $88 per day. Includes a 1/4 block of limestone. Tools supplied.
Mosaics with Sandra Bain
One and a half day workshops.
Saturday 22nd January 10am to 4.30pm and Sunday 23rd January 3.00pm to 5pm.
(The workshop on the 5/6 December is fully booked)
Cost $110, including glue & grout, but tiles & item to be mosaiced incurs extra cost.
