The Association of Sculptors of Victoria is an inclusive, not-for-profit collective of contemporary artists whose purpose is to inspire,stimulate and advance the appreciation, creation, and exploration of three-dimensional art in society.

Exhibition Opportunities outside ASV

Applications are now open for the 
McClelland Sculpture Survey & Award 2012 for outdoor sculpture.
Displayed throughout 16 hectares of bush and landscaped gardens from 18 November 2012- to 14 July 2013, the McClelland Sculpture Survey is intended to provide sculptors the opportunity to present their works in an outdoor exhibition context.
Selected artists will be eligible for the McClelland Award 2012, an $100,000 acquisitive award to be judged by Deborah Edwards, Senior Curator - Australian art, Art Gallery of New South Wales.
Survey artists will also be in the running for the Frankston City People’s Choice Award, valued at $20,000 sponsored by Frankston City Council which will be awarded in June 2013 to the artist whose work is voted the most popular by visitors to the McClelland Sculpture Survey.
Sculptors nationally and internationally are eligible to enter the McClelland Sculpture Survey & Award 2012 from 19 September 2011 to 21 November 2011. The recipients will be announced in early December 2011.

New Art Creative Development Grants.
Grants are for artists wishing to explore innovative ideas and collaborations to make major new artworks possible. In 2011,
you can apply for $30,000 to develop your art project. This might include honing your plans and concept, developing a model
or prototype, fi nding partners, and securing other sources of funding.
This initiative is open to independent artists, curators and producers working across all art forms, including dance, literature,
music, theatre, visual arts, hybrid, digital and interdisciplinary art.
