A mass email was sent out earlier in April notifying members of an expression of Interest process for a project in Banyule Council: The Greensborough Walk Public Art Commission.
Further information can be obtained from Banyule Council or their website http://www.banyule.vic.gov.au/arts/#3. There were site inspections on 18th and 20th April last.

Castlemaine is having its inaugural ARTSOPEN Festival this week from 26th to 29th April. More information from the website www.artsopen.com.au - and of course we expect a full report from our members involved after the event.

I saw this report in the ABC online news of a sculpture event in Hahndorf where an international sculpture symposium is being held, with five overseas sculptors joining Australians Silvio Apponyi, Luke Zwolsman and Craig Medson to create the works to be installed in the Adelaide Hills.

There was information sent to us about the Maroondah Art in public places project. But when we looked into it the conditions required artists to waive their moral rights. We contacted ArtsLaw who did contact Maroondah - we shall see what transpires.
