We cooperate as an association to advance the practice of sculpture and the reputation and appreciation of sculpture and sculptors in the community. This is regardless of whether or not we make a living from sculpture and regardless of our preferred style or medium. To this end we support artists’ moral rights, we advocate a professional attitude to the production and presentation of work and encourage the artistic and intellectual stimulation of interaction amongst artists of all persuasions.

Presidents Message for June

Hi All,
Like the newsletter my message will be short this month as I have just, today, returned from overseas.  If this all seems a bit jet lagged… it is. Holidays are taken for many reasons. Top of the list is for a rest.

The June Meeting

The evening of 12 June was cold and raining.In spite of this 17 of us turned up at the Ashburton Uniting Church Meeting Rooms, Mary van den Broek gave us a slide show and talk mainly about the ISC
