President's Letter for July 2014

Hi Fellow sculptors and friends.,

Well things are hotting up here. Entries are coming in which means lots of work to do. Thanks to all
those who have offered their help so far. I will be making contact with you very soon. There are plenty more jobs for anyone with a bit of spare time. We are organising invitations at the moment. You will all receive them by email or snail mail so please do your bit by forwarding them to friends, relatives, nearby galleries, Local papers, libraries, and business associates. We already have a great half page advertisment in the NGV magazine, Art Almanac and feature in "What’s on in Melbourne" and RACV Internet magazine. Lets let everyone know we are back in the City and making a splash. It’s a great opportunity to show Melbourne what we can do.

Good luck to every one entering and to those who are not, happy sculpting. Hope to see you at the opening.

Happy sculpting, Gillian Govan President

PS. By the way don’t forget to let me know if you want to go to Coats and Wood Foundry on Tues. 12th August at 11am… Always exciting
