Michael Meszaros and Gillian Govan worked together to draw attention to the lack of acknowledgment of sculptors’ authorship of their work in an article in the RACV magazine Royalauto. This action is one way that we can support each other as artists.
At Herring Island we had an incident where a photographer came to the show with full kit and a large tripod to photograph works for his own purposes - this triggered a lively exchange and will no doubt lead to further clarification of our policy on photography at exhibitions - contributions are welcome.
