From the President

 Hi all,

In the background of the ASV the wheels are turning. Not grinding…. Really turning. Our recent committee meeting revealed that we have several new members. Welcome to you all. We are in a comfortable position financially. The Herring Island exhibition was a great success and enjoyable. Entries have flowed in for the International Flower and Garden Show and the publicity machine is about to get into gear.

Exhibitions to Enter

Below are exhibition opportunities that have come in over the month - remember to check Art Almanac for others that we may not have received:

Melbourne Prize for Urban Sculpture
The Melbourne Prize for Urban Sculpture highlights the importance of the aesthetic quality and liveability of the urban environment and its relationship with sculpture, in all its forms.

The 2017 program will be similar to 2014 but we have some exciting additions. It would also be good to discuss opportunities to raise awareness of the ROI if it is of interest.

For further information and to register for entry information go to http://melbourneprizetrust.org/  and http://www.melbourneprize.org/

Cottesloe Sculpture by the Sea
