Melbourne Prize for Urban Sculpture
The Melbourne Prize for Urban Sculpture highlights the importance of the aesthetic quality and liveability of the urban environment and its relationship with sculpture, in all its forms.

The 2017 program will be similar to 2014 but we have some exciting additions. It would also be good to discuss opportunities to raise awareness of the ROI if it is of interest.

Expressions of Interest released with closing date extended to 10.3.17

The Lorne Sculpture Biennale was founded in 2007 and with over 60,000 visitors attending the 5th Biennale last year, the event was pronounced an unmitigated success.

The Curator, President and Committee now invite artists from across the globe to participate in the 6th Lorne Sculpture Biennale, ‘LANDFALL’ nature + humanity + art, which will take place between 17 March and 2 April 2018.

Applications are now open for artists, performers, filmmakers, writers, composers and any other creative individuals to tap into the State Library’s rich collections through its annual Fellowships program. 15 fellowships on offer include children’s literature, digital media, Ukrainian studies, performing arts, visual arts and a fellowship to commemorate the centenary of WWI. Past fellowships have produced major exhibitions, public art installations, documentaries, books, graphic novels, plays, musical scores, interactive games and many other creative projects.We hope that these opportunities will be of interest to your community and networks. Swell Sculpture

This year we celebrate our 15th Annual SWELL Sculpture Festival, Queensland’s largest outdoor sculpture exhibition taking place at Currumbin Beach on the Gold Coast between 8 – 17 September 2017.

Highlights include a major $15,000 award with the award pool totalling $25,000 and an artist subsidy that is available to assist with the cost of exhibiting. Submissions are open to Australian and International artists.

Submissions are welcome from professional, mid-career and emerging artists.
